Congratulations to Jan Eijking, winner of the 2023 Barbara W. Tuchman Prize for his paper "Securing the Expert Mandate: Telegraphs and the Mid-Nineteenth Century International" and to Eric Haney and Ameya Pratap Singh, who received an honourable mention for their paper "Going to the Jungle Without a Gun: Knowledge, Fear, and Hierarchy in South Asian Theories of War, 1857-1950"
